White Oaks Elementary School of Burke, Virginia, hosts the annual White Oaks Chess Challenge, inviting students from seven other schools to compete in the Royal Game. The schools in 2010 were Keene Mill, Laurel Ridge, Lorton Station, Oak View, Orange Hunt, Sangster, Silverbrook and White Oaks.
