Spring Break Chess Camp 2010

Full! The U.S. Chess Center offers two Spring Break Chess Camps this year, both at Churchill Road Elementary School. This is our sixteenth year of running a camp during spring break. We will again combine chess with other fun activities, such as swimming. One camp is oriented towards students in grades 2 - 6 who already know the rules of chess. The other allows kids as old as eighth grade to participate and receive more advanced lessons. The two camps do not mix for chess play and lessons but will be together for certain other activities, such as lunch. The camp will be held from Monday to Thursday at Churchill Road Elementary School at 7100 Churchill Road in McLean, Virginia. We also offer an aftercare problem-solving enrichment program in language, math, and lateral thinking from 3:00 - 5:00. Only $165 for the camp, and $40 for the aftercare. Please make checks payable to the CRS PTA. Space is limited.
