Spring Break Chess Camp 2008

The U.S. Chess Center offers a Spring Break Chess Camp this year. This is our fourteenth year of running a camp during spring break. We will again combine chess with other fun activities, such as swimming. This camp is oriented towards students in grades 2 - 6 who already know the rules of chess. The camp will be held from Monday to Thursday at Spring Hill Elementary School, 8201 Lewinsville Road, McLean, Virginia, right across the street from the Spring Hill Recreation Center, where we will go swimming. We also will offer an aftercare problem-solving enrichment program in language, math, and lateral thinking at Spring Hill from 3:00 - 5:00. Only $140 for the camp, and $40 for the aftercare. Please make checks payable to the Spring Hill PTO. Space is limited so please register early!
