Scholastic Kick-Offs
The 2003 Scholastic Kick-Offs was held on October 11, 2003 at the US Chess Center.
Kindergarten - Grade 3:: This was Alexander Wolf's first tournament at the U.S. Chess Center but it was not beginner's luck as he tore through a powerful field to capture the first place trophy with a perfect score.
Grades 4 & 5: Kevin Chiang played excellent chess in sweeping the group.
Grades 6 & 7: Joey Regalbuto continued his winning ways, adding another championship trophy to his collection.
Grades 8 - 12: Victor Caraballo continued from where he left off last year, winning yet another tournament.
