1997 Scholastc Kick-Offs
This school year got started with a great event, with 71 students participating in the four-section event. Pizzas were eaten with bare hands in the lobby but kids were using forks and skewers in the playing room as mates were manufactured and friendships were formed.
High Section:
John Rouleau and Andrew Nelson tied with 3½ points.
Middle School Section:
Matthew Harding, Zheng Cao & Josh Specht all scored 3½ to become co-champions.
Elementary (4th & 5th Grade) Section:
Jason Liu swept aside the competition
Primary School Section:
Elizabeth Guidara won her K-3 section handily, winning all four of her games.
