Scholastic Chess Kick-off Tournament

The scholastic chess kick-offs start the scholastic chess season at the U.S. Chess Center. This tournament is an excellent way to gear up and get ready for a competitive, exciting year.

This is a 4 round-Swiss System tournament, time control Game/30. Open to players in kindergarten through 12th grade.
EF: $12, ($10 Center members) if by Oct. 6, all $15 at site.
Individual and team trophies to top finishers.
Registration runs from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. Round one starts a little after 1 p.m. and the event will be over around 6:00 p.m.

Free parking at the Center if you arrive before 1:30 p.m. The parking garage entrance is on 15th Street, not M Street.
