Jr./Sr. High School Charity Team Chess Tournament

This is a 4-Round Swiss System tournament (time control Game/30) open only to students attending middle, junior high or high school. Team consist of three or more players from the same school. The top three finishers count towards the team score. Students may play as one-person teams if nobody else from the same school participates.

Winning teams will receive trophies for their schools. If the winning school is competing in the Metro Area Chess League it automatically qualifies for the play-offs.

This tournament is not rated: no membership in any organization is required. The entry fee for each player is two cans of non-perishable food. All entry fees are donated to Martha's Table.

Register from Noon - 1:00 pm. The awards ceremony should end by 6:00pm.

Please bring pencils, boards, sets and clocks if you have them. Equipment will not be provided but it is sold.
