The U.S. Chess Center is a charitable organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3). Contributions to us are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Our mission is to teach young people, especially those from the inner city, the game of chess as a means of improving their academic and social skills. We receive no government support, nor do we receive any funding from the U.S. Chess Federation. We rely on our programs and on the generous support of the community to continue our work.
