Schools qualify by doing well in major events (Nationals, State Championship, Elementary Team League) or in any of the large series of qualifying local events. If you would like to be invited to a qualifying event for 2010 - 2011, please contact David Mehler. Teams in the championship consist of two players from each grade (K-2, 3, 4, 5 & 6) plus the school champion. Teams are 11 players. No more than 11 players from any school may attend the tournament. Students play only others in their grade section. This is really an event with six separate tournaments in which the players each play four games. Nobody is eliminated from the tournament and every point counts towards the team score.
